I think thats the problem… too many people respond to the stimulai with thier emotions, instead of logic/reasoning, intelligence.
a lot of humans are merely animals, at least 90% are a waste of space… as a human, you can be whatever you want… the cat will always be a cat, and animals will always be animals.

i like some others dont agree with the frase “cats are animals, and humans are not”. humans do fit into the animal kindom, however the human kingdom does not exist.
the cat is a cat, the human is a human.
